Saint Elizabeth Elementary School raised $797.39 for the National Catholic Educational Association's Student to Student: A Catholic Response to Hurricane Harvey initiative through a dress down day on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Parents, students, teachers, and staff are to be commended for your generosity. Faculty and staff want to thank all who donated from the bottom of their hearts, as they have family in the Houston area and friends in the path of Irma. When accessing the Donation Reply Form on line, the name has been changed to “A Catholic School Response for Hurricane Relief 2017” and includes the option of donations just to Hurricane Harvey or to Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. In order to increase our donation, the money raised at our dress down on September 26th will be added to this week’s amount so that money can go to the Catholic schools impacted by either Hurricane Harvey or Hurricane Irma. NCEA will distribute 100% of the funds collected to dioceses in the affected areas for their Catholic schools in vital need of support due to the impact of the hurricanes. "Service to others is the rent we pay for our room here on Earth"--Muhammed Ali. The Saint Elementary School Family has definitely paid the rent for more than a few days!
